Order Cycle
The Order Cycle is a thesis developed by Ângelo Vicente, CEO of Selia, during his master’s degree at MIT – Sloan School of Management, with the collaboration of Koichiro Kondo, designed to represent the complexity and fluidity of a high-performance e-commerce operation.
Inspired by the Monaco street circuit, one of the most challenging in Formula 1, the concept conveys the idea that in digital, speed alone is not enough — you must master the track.
Just like in Monaco, where overtaking is difficult and every corner demands extreme skill, in e-commerce each stage of the journey, from activation to delivery, requires control, strategy, and flawless execution.
This is precisely the ability we want to convey with the Order Cycle: an operation where nothing is random, everything is mapped, every decision is made intelligently, and performance is the natural result of precision.
