The team behind Selia
Selia was founded with the backing of one of the most solid business groups in the country, with strategic operations in the following sectors:
Agronegócio
Since 1945, Grupo Humus has operated as one of the main sugarcane suppliers in the state of São Paulo, serving the largest players in the sugar-energy sector. In 2002, the group became a partner, alongside a French multinational, in Usina Vertente, an integrated operation of sugar, ethanol, and power generation, with supply through Companhia Paulista de Força e Luz (CPFL).
Real Estate
Strong presence in the real estate sector, focused on land development, residential and commercial projects. The portfolio includes prime areas and strategic regions in the interior of São Paulo, combining asset appreciation with high-quality urban planning.
Tecnologia
In 1999, the group created Netsite, one of the first internet providers in Brazil, and founded JET E-commerce, a reference in platforms for major retail brands. It also launched E-cadeiras, a leading e-commerce in the furniture segment, ranked among the top 50 in the sector by the Brazilian Society of Retail and Consumption (SBVC).
This foundation ensures financial stability, a long-term vision, and investment capacity to drive the digital transformation of retail.
More than an investment group, it is a legacy of entrepreneurship, innovation, and foresight that supports Selia and its Intelligent Commerce proposition.
